General Experience Playing Here: 4.5

The Red Rock is the class of the “locals’” casinos in Las Vegas. The casino as a whole can rival any of the main strip casinos and the poker room is no exception. If you are visiting Las Vegas, you should make it a point to get out to see this magnificent facility.

This will definetly be the hot spot in Northwest Las Vegas and we imagine that players will come from all around, there appears that getting a game will never be much of a problem and they spread a wide variety of limits. No limit at $1/$2, $2/$5, $5/10 and $10/$20, along with limit holdem up to $15/$30 have been spread when I have been there. The is also usually Omaha and Omaha Hi/Low being offered.

This is a fantastic setting to play poker in.

Aggressiveness Rating: 3

Player Mix: 3

This is a locals casino, so the vast majority of the players were locals. We think that down the road more tourists might venture out to this room.

On the two occasions that I have played $1/$2 No Limit the games were good, with a good mix of players of different skill and aggressiveness levels.

Room Condition: 4

This room is gorgeous, it has twenty tables that are nicely spaced. The tables are brand new and have the Genesis system installed for tracking player time, calling floor personnel, chip runners and cocktail waitresses. The chairs are comfortable and have high backs.

There is a restroom located right inside the poker room (it doesn’t seem to be big enough for when the room is packed, but I never had to wait when using it). There is diner located right next to the room with direct access from the room, there are huge rolling tables available for food and beverages in the room. The sports book is also right next to the poker room and it is spectacular also.

The only drawback to the room is that there are not enough TVs and you don’t have a good view from a lot of the seats.

Dealer Rating: 4.5

The dealers were fast, friendly and hardly ever make a mistake. The games are well ran.

Cocktail Service: 4.5

The cocktail waitresses are gorgeous and friendly. On our first visit the service was a bit slow, the room was full and they appeared to be understaffed. On my second visit the room was again full, but the service was very fast.

Management Rating: 4

On the two occasions we have been here, the place was packed and everything was moving at a hectic pace, but the management did an excellent job of getting to everyone and keeping games running and managing floor decisions.

$1/hr which can be used in any Stations Casino, plus 50 hrs play in April/May timeframe gets you into $300,000 freeroll.
