General Experience Playing Here: 2.5
The Palace Station poker room is nice enough, although there is something about it that seemed off to me. There is not a lot of excitement in the room, just steady poker play. There is often an Omaha game going, which is one of the few rooms in Vegas that can make that claim. The location is close enough to the strip, if you want to venture out and see a different room but I wouldn’t go out of your way to visit-unless you are looking for an Omaha game.
Competition Rating: 3
Aggressiveness Rating: 3
Player Mix: 3
A lot of locals play at Palace Station, but since it is close to the strip, not quite as large a percentage as the other Station casinos. The level of play in the $4/$8 game that I played in was pretty average, no really weak players and no really strong players. The no limit and Omaha games that were going on seemed to be pretty much the same.

Room Condition: 3
The poker room is conveniently located right next to the rear entrance. There are plenty of TVs in the room, the tables are nice and the chairs are adequate. There is only a paper list system. Normally, I would probably rate the room condition a little higher, but there is something about the room that strikes me as being wrong, although I can’t identify what it is.
Dealer Rating: 2.5
The dealers are not very friendly and none of the ones I encountered seemed to enjoy what they were doing. It goes a long way towards enhancing a player’s poker experience if the dealers enjoy dealing and that was not the case at the Palace Station.
Cocktail Service: 3.5
The cocktail service was relatively fast and the waitresses were friendly and accurate with the drink orders.
Management Rating: 3
I didn’t have much interaction with the management, although they seemed to be friendly and were efficient in getting players into games. I didn’t see any decisions having to be made.
Comps: 3
