The night we were there we played $3-6 limit,it was a very loose table with lots of raising and if you could be patient you could some good money here.But most players were not patient and got caught up in the action of all the raising and lost there bank roll.As the new players came into the game the couple of sharks were just foaming at the mouth.

Almost all the players are over 40 so if you under this age you would be the youngest player at the table.Most of the players are locals and have been playing here for years,and they know how to play poker
Room Condition 1
The poker room at the El Cortez is not really a poker room two tables and a manager's desk,and right next to the crap tables.The poker tables are horrible,very old and cigarette burns all over the tables.If you are a none smoker then don't play here because you are allowed to smoke at the poker tables.This poker room if you can call it that is horrible.

The player's were very aggressive lots of raising and most of the time was capped pre flop.

Player mix 80% locals except for the few fish that show up every night

The dealer's were very bad,some of the older ones were decent,but if they were good dealers they would not be working at the El Cortez

The cocktail waitresses have been waiting to long and should retire,good thing there outfits are not that revealing.But the good thing was they always had a drink there for you and were very friendly
