General Experience Playing Here: 3.5
Although the poker area at Bally’s is noisy, it is a good place to play. The dealers are good, the cocktail service is excellent and the competition is weak. If you are staying anywhere near Bally’s and are looking for a good low limit game, you should visit Bally’s
Competition Rating: 4.5
Aggressiveness Rating: 4
Player Mix: 4
A lot of inexperienced players playing in the Bally’s poker room. This room has a reputation as being one of the easier rooms at the lower limits in Vegas. There are a lot of players that are fishing and you will get sucked out on, but over the long run the above average player should come out ahead in this room.
Room Condition: 2.5
This is not really a room, but rather an area sectioned off in the main casino. The layout is okay and the tables are nice. The chairs leave a little bit to be desired. The location does seem to attract more novice players, so although it is noisy there are some benefits. There is an electronic list system and the sign up area is separate from the cashier area, so there is not a lot of confusion or crowding going on. There are a few TVs that are located well.
Dealer Rating: 3.5
The dealers were friendly and ran the games well.
Cocktail Service: 4
The cocktail waitresses are not the best looking, nor are the uniforms very impressive, but the service is fast and friendly. The bar is right next to the poker area, so you rarely have to wait for drinks. If your goal is to get drunk while playing, this is a great spot.
Management Rating: 3
The management team seems competent. We haven’t had much occasion to watch them handle a busy crowd or make any decisions.
